It’s been a long wait and road to get to Intelligentsia Silver Lake Coffeebar L.A. But, it was worth it. It’s sacred. The stuff that legends are made of.
Intelli L.A. is awesome. Five Baristi, working together like the cogs of a Breitling.
We had to join a never-ending queue of equally passionate coffee drinkers, who don’t mind waiting for something good. It’s also the best way to chat with the locals and glean some insider info.
Of course we had to work our way down the coffee menu: from espresso to macchiato to cappuccino (all BLACK CAT espresso-based), and our absolute highlight was the two single origin Columbians done on the Clover. The ESCUELA VIEJA was a rush of toasted hazelnut and milk choc, where the GUAYATA was a mouth of caramel in a field of Mother’s day flowers.
It’s so darn good to be in L.A.
