It’s difficult to find a good coffee in Frankfurt. Actually, the coffee is lousy. The only place we found a half decent espresso, was at a hairdressing salon called QUARTIER 4 FRISEURE. Although Claudia is an absolute tea-drinker with her favourite a Spring “Flugtee” – a superior quality first-flush tea that is picked and flown to Europe immediately after harvest – her partner, Andreas, is a passionate coffee-drinker. They use STERN-KAFFEE from the H. Wissmueller Roastery in Frankfurt. It’s a one-man roastery with an old and rather “schräg”, somewhat alternative, gentleman the roaster.
